Coaches Corner
When you go out to play, are
you tired of making the same mistakes?
Confused by too much technical
information.
Do you have the best equipment,
all the books and videos and your game still needs fixing from tee to green? If the instructions in the books or videos aren't working for you, then you have come
to the right place. We do not have a system of teaching but a method of instructing that lets us focus on helping
the student understand what to do and the best way to do it. Why it is done that way along with the drills
designed to produce an effective consistent golf swing.
Our Mission Statement: To
provide instructional information that will help to enhance the golfers enjoyment, to promote the game through sportsmanship
and respect for the rules, practice etiquette and fikkow the rules ofsafety found in th USGA Rules of Golf. When playing
the golf course repair the damage that you cause and take the time to visit the United States Golf Association
(USGA) web site by clicking on their logo below.

Coaching Anouncement
April 2008 I was offered the privilege of becoming the Varsity Golf Coach for The Miami Valley
School. The Dayton -Area's Only Independent College Preparotary School. Thanks to the AD Ken Laake this once more places me
in position to work with a great group of high performance athletes. Students that are academic motivated, with devotion to
family, school and community. It is my desire to bring to this program the integrity owed each and every team member. To focus
on the athlete's total development. To enhance the respect for the rules and officials as well as other coaches.
To support the principles of fair play.To give the player the information that will help them become better performance
athletes. This will be accomplished through good training, skill development, playing of the game (on course tactics and srategies)
as well as physical conditioning and proper nutrition. For all of us to remember, coaches have the right to coach, and
each athlete has the right to learn, and parents have the right to know.
Even though I am no longer with the school thanks for the experience:

I had the privlege of coaching this young man when I was with the University as assistant golf coach and was very glad
and proud to learn that the school had brought him back as the head coach for the mens golf team. Sometime someone comes along
to make you glad that you are doing what you do, Drew made me glad that I had became an golf instructor and coach. I wish
