Pride And Disappointment
It was with great pride when I saw the first minority on camera on the Golf Channel. It was with great pride when I saw Tiger Woods' success. It was with great pride when the Golf Channel shared the success of two Afro-American players making it to their prospective tours. It was a great disappointment when the Golf Channel announced the upcoming segment featuring Hank Haney who made a great deal of money on the talents of Tiger Woods and Rush Limbaugh who has made a great deal of money on the backs of minorities in this country. I am quite sure that there are other golfers like myself who feel that this program should be ignored or at least protested in some manner. This is a call to arms to all golfers to show the disappointment felt by this inconsiderate decision on behalf of the Golf Channel show airing on January 11th, 2011.
